Ghana will kick off their AFCON qualifying campaign by hosting Madagascar at home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. before before travelling to face off with Central African Republic on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the upcoming 2023 AFCON qualifiers next week.
The 46-year-old together with Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani were re-appointed as coaches of the Black Stars until the end of December 2022 by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The quartet, who masterminded Ghana’s qualification to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament will stay on to see to Ghana’s preparation to the global showpiece, the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the World Cup itself.
