Ahead of the upcoming 2023 CHAN Qualifiers, the head coach of Black Stars B, Annor Walker is set to invite two Karela United players, midfielder Umar Bashiru and defender Augustine Randolph in his squad.
Umar Bashiru who has hit double figures in goals with 12 has been in scintillating form since joining the Passioners and has undoubtedly been one of the best players in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The 24-year old has made 29 appearances with four assists and three MVP’s.
Augustine Randolph who earned a call up last year is set to join the team once again.
The 21-year old spent some time on the injury bed but has regained his form and has made 20 outings for the Aiyinasi based outfits.
He has amass two MVP’s and has provided four assists this season.
The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) is set to hold the draw for the CHAN tournament today ,May 26,2022 in Cairo, Egypt.
Ghana have ebbed to qualify in the last three tournaments.
They are two time finalist, loosing the maiden edition in 2009 to DR. Congo and in 2014 to Libya.
Algeria will host the tournament scheduled to come off in January 8-31.
