Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak were held to a pulsating 1-1 draw in a match-day 31 encounter played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Former Samartex 1996 star Benjamin Yorke opened the scoring for the Phobians with three minutes added on to end the first half of the game while Emmanuel Owusu Boakye restored parity for the Passioners on the 84th minute to secure a vital point.
Hearts with the point will stay in fourth position with 48 points as Karela United will move to seventh position with 45 points with three games to end the season.
The Phobians started the game on an impressive note with youngster Benjamin Yorke grabbing the much needed goal for the capital based club.
The first half ended 1:0 in favour of Hearts.
It was a relentless attacking play for the Rainbow Boys as they look to close the gab between the top three clubs.
Awako and Muntari should have doubled the lead for the Phobians but their attempts proved futile.
