Harbin based Heilongjiang Ice City recorded an impressive 4-0 victory over Beijing BG in round one of the 2022-23 Chinese League One, at the Harbin ICE Center Stadium.
The home team started the game on a high note pushing the Beijing club back on their heels in the opening minutes of the match.
Midfielder Liming Chen gave the host the lead on the 6th minutes mark when he reacted quicker to slot home for his side to make it 1-0.
Beijing BG came into the game with some possession of the ball around the middle of the pitch but failed to make any serious incursion upfront and the first half ended 1-0 to the host.
The nuts and bolts were well fasten by Heilongjiang Ice City in the second half.
Former Nkoranza Warriors and Karela United wonder-kid, Evans Etti scored the second goal in the game from the spot in the 65th minute as goalkeeper Dong Hang dived to the wrong direction.
Xin Bu and Dongxu Tu grabbed the third and fourth goals on the 68th and 87 minutes respectively for coach Duan Xin charges.
The 20-year old joined Heilongjiang Ice City FC from Accra Lions after the 2019-2020 Division One League Season where he helped them to secure their maiden top-flight football.
