Uganda striker Steven Mukwala has joined Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal, according to reports.

The highly rated URA forward has been long standing target for the Porcupine Warriors and the agreement has been made.

Domesticsportsgh.com understands, an announcement is expected from both club this week.

The 23 year old Ugandan has been consistent with his numbers as a striker, averaging almost 50% in the last three seasons.

In 2019/20 Ugandan Premier League, he scored 13 goals in 23 matches and netted 14 goals in 24 matches the following league campaign.

Then in 2021/22 season, the striker hit the back of the net with 13 goals in 26 matches.

That’s 40 in 73 games.

Mukwala will join the side for their 2022/23 campaign in Ghana and in the Caf Champions league as they aim to return to the glory days.
