Samartex 1996 have reportedly completed the signing of two new players, Richard Baidoo and Isaac Afful ahead of the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League season.
The Timber Giants are in the market to reinforce their squad in their maiden season in the topflight after 26-years.
Richard Baidoo joins Samartex FC permanently from Accra Hearts of Oak. He previously had a short stint on loan with the Timbers in the 2019-20 season.

The 23-year old shot to the limelight following his impressive outings with Karela United in the 2020-21 season where he was rewarded with call-up’s to the Black Meteors and Black Galaxies.
Isaac Afful after a scintillating full season with Skyy FC has also pen a 4-years contract with the Samreboi-based outfits.

The 21-year old defender scored two goals and provided 6 assist in 29 appearances for the Eagles of Wassa.
Samartex 1996 are currently in pre-season as they look to prepare adequately for the Division One Super Cup and the new football season.
They have previously confirmed the signings of Ebenezer Acquah, Larry Sumaila, Gabriel Bonnah and Emmanuel Keyekeh.
