Having qualified to the elite division of Ghana football after a historic, resounding and spectacular long season achievement in the Division One league, Fc Samartex have been on the quiet strategizing technically and infrastructure-wise to meet all recommendations set by the club licensing board of the GFA.
The 5,000 capacity Nsenkyire Sports Arena reconstruction to serve as the home ground of the team is near completion, a standardized training facilities are set to kickstart the season.
Fans and sympathizers of the Timber Giants after weeks of ranting, unsettling and in vexatious mood against management for being quiet in the transfer window. The President of the club had plenty to ponder to calm nerves when he announced experience coach Abdul Malik Mohammed as the Sporting Director of the club to spearhead the directions of the women and youth team.
On August 6th, He again announced the acquisition of experienced coach Annor Walker who was the head coach of Accra Great Olympics in the last three seasons and currently the coach of Black Galaxies to lead the Galant Timber Giants in the next two years.
Fans and sympathizers were full of the joys of spring knowing the qualities the experienced gaffer brings to the table
Management of the team through the technical handlers are revamping the squad knowing the task ahead with quality acquisitions.
The club together with Icarus, a creative kit brand unveiled its home and away kits that emphasized the importance of staying true to their roots in the tropical forest. Per projections on social media, supporters are cheery and craving to put on the replica of the exact same high-quality fabric as the shirts to be worn by the players.
Business and Development manager Paul Anyaba confirmed “Samartex Count” an initiative to register supporters to be able to contribute financially to the club.
“I personally applaud this step because it is giving the supporters direct stake into the affairs of the club that all Bundesliga clubs are thriving on in Germany.”

Other deals are subject to confirmation and as per my information, quality players will join the team that will excite its supporters.
With the transfer window having been extended by a week, management will have enough time to evaluate the the team.
Per my assessment of the team and the kind of Technical handlers, I will call for calmness within the supporters and to rally in the blowing wind in the deep forest that strengthens the Giant Timber.
The team is currently preparing at the Eastern Region of Ghana, Adukrom at the Safari Valley Resort and are scheduled to move to Kyebi on Monday for the Division One Super cup where the Timber Giants are paired in Group B alongside with Young Apostles, Temale City and Tema Youth football Club.
This is a good preparatory test for team cohesion and also understanding the philosophy of the technical handlers. A platform to justify.
