Ace broadcaster Professor George Kuntu Blankson has become the first person to declare his intention to contest for the Western Regional Football Association Presidential seat when Simon Ehomah’s tenure comes to an end.
The West Gold FM Morning Sports show host said he will pick his forms when the Executive Committee invites potential candidates to pick their forms for the election.
The current chairman of the Shama District Football Association is the latest to indicate his interest in becoming the next President of the WRFA.
Despite his desire to contest for the RFA chairmanship, he explained that the current RFA chairman Mr. Simon Ehomah is in his first term and has to finish the good work he has started and serve for another term to complete his 8 years term in office.
Professor George Kuntu Blankson has vast experience in football and was the face of Western Region’s Sports Journalism from 1997 to 2010.
Kuntu Blankson will be hoping to lead the football Association after Simon Ehomah.
