Former Nzema Kotoko talisman, Patrick Akesse Akesse has started training with Medeama Sporting Club after making full recovery from his injury.
Akesse had been battling with a knee injury for some time last year but has suffered major setback in training on his road to recovery. The attacker had to receive medical attention and has now recoverd fully and ready for action.
Akesse has to play just twice in his maiden season in the Ghana Premier League in the 2021-22 Season. He will be hoping to impress Coach Umar Abdul Rabi at training to ensure he gets more games in the coming days.
The 22-year old made the headlines in the 2020-2021 Division one League season where he scored all goals in Nzema Kotoko’s 6-2 home win over Star Madrid.
He went on to complete the season with 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 25 matches.
