Karela United hosted the Phobians in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League at the CAM Park, where the Passioners massacred the former league champions by 3-0.

The home team shot in the lead through Owuso Boakye, before an own goal from Konadu Yiadom and the late strike from Richard Berko sealed the day for the Passioners infront of a very encouraging crowd at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

According to Nzema Football Fan Page ( NFFP), Karela United racked up over GHC14,000 from gate proceeds, their second highest in the ongoing season after Kotoko showdown which was reportedly had over GHC20,000.

Karela United travel to Abrankese to face King Faisal for their next game.
