Accra Hearts of Oak have announced that their defender, Robert Addo Sowah has returned to training after recovering from a calf injury.
Addo Sowah has been one of the best performing center-backs for the club and played a crucial role for the Phobians in the early stages of the Ghana Premier league.
The defender sustained the injury in their BetPawa Premier League matchday 18 clash against Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium in February, causing him to miss several games.
Addo Sowah has returned from injury and he’s currently training individually under the supervision of fitness coach Enock Daitey. The plan is to have him recover fully to participate in team’s training and their remaining games of the season.
The Ghana premier league has been put on hold this week for the MTN FA Cup games.
“Center back, Robert Addo Sowah is back to training. He has commenced light training workouts with Enoch Daitey, our fitness coach. Addo missed a couple of games due to the injury.”
Hearts of Oak is set to face Nsoatreman FC in the 26th week of the BetPawa Premier League. The team currently ranks fifth on the league table with 39 points.
