Ladies Strikers’ Edith David Doe has chosen to represent Ghana in international football over Nigeria, the defender confirmed on Wednesday.
The 23-year old, who was born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother has opted to play for her motherland.

The former Adamawa Queens center-back has confidently said; ” I chose to represent Ghana instead of Nigeria because my Mom is a Ghanaian”.
The erstwhile Abia Angels defender has been instrumental for her Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League side, Ladies Strikers who sits 8th on the Southern Zone league standings with 17 points after 15 matches this season.
The versatile defender is eager to be part of Coach Nora Häuptle next Black Queens call up.
