The Ghana Premier League leaders lost on penalties, with King Faisal, under the leadership of Ignatius Osei-Fosu who was appointed earlier this week, advancing to the last four.

The game ended 2-2 after Faisal fought back twice, and the Kumasi-based club were more clinical during the penalty shootout to secure a 3-1 win.

King Faisal’s famous win means that they join Skyy FC in the semis. Skyy beat Ebusua Dwarfs by a lone goal, also on Sunday.
