Real Madrid go top of La Liga as protests continue

Unfortunately, due to the postponement of the original scheduled date for the launch, I am unable to sit in this all important occasion.

Be assured that I’m with you in spirit even though I’m currently in Istanbul Turkey en-route Tunis for a summit of mission heads for the 2023 African Beach Games where African Beach Soccer is top of the agenda.

As always, my commitment to Ghana Beach Soccer and our collective desire to see beach soccer attain her fullest potential has never wavered.

If anything, it has reached an all time high considering that we are all still pushing for better, despite the multitude of challenges and setbacks we have faced over the years. Better days are surely ahead.

I wish to thank all those who have believed and backed Ghana Beach Soccer from day one to date.

Tons of appreciation to our perennial Sponsors CalBank for the 12 years of unbreakable support, the Chiefs and elders from coast to coast, our patrons and supporters at every venue to have tasted the excitement of the sport.

To my fellow hard working committee members, referees and supporting officials. Thank you.

Last but not least, ayekooo to the Ghanaian media without whom Beach Soccer would never have gained prominence or the limelight it enjoys today.

A very special thank you to the GFA led by President Kurt Okraku and the tireless General Secretary for the commitment to support this exciting sport and thus ensuring the next level of growth and development we so badly crave.

The renaissance has begun. Thank you and God bless us all.

“Yaw Ampofo Ankrah
Chairman
Ghana Beach Soccer Competitions Committee”
