The Passioners were defeated 2-0 on Sunday by Legon Cities at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park which surprised the entire fan base.
The result was an embarrassment for Karela United who were ranked higher than the Royals prior to the game.
It was the third defeat for Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial after King Faisal, Accra Lions and Legon Cities.
The Passioners are on the red zone of the Ghana Premier League with 32 points after 27 games.
The former Real Tamale United coach is now on red alert to win in his next game against RTU.
