Domesticsportsgh.com investigations can reveal that after a crunch meeting between Nzema Kotoko and Ghana Gas officials, the two parties have agreed to renew their sponsorship agreement.
It will be recalled that, Nzema Kotoko led by Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III signed a yearly sponsorship deal with Ghana Gas which ended in January this year.
The closure of the new deal comes as a big relief to Nzema Kotoko who depend heavily on the cash component for payment of player salaries and other vital expenses of the club.
Our sources can also reveal that the deal is worth a whopping Ghc600,000.00 for one year (Ghc50,000.00 direct cash paid in every month).
Nzema Kotoko are benefitting from this deal which form part of Ghana Gas cooperate social responsibilities.
However, Ghana Gas and Karela United contract is yet to be renew according to Mr.Stephen Donkor, Senior Manager of the club, who revealed this in a private discussion with Domesticsportsgh.com.
” Yeah, it’s true we have renewed Nzema Kotoko contract now left with Karela United”.
” We don’t know whether the club will stay here or not, so they should let us know before any deal can go through”.
