Karela United dominates Abukari Damba’s GPL week 30 team of the week

 

Three Karela United players and their coach were named in Abukari Damba’s Ghana Premier League match week 30 team of the week.

Karela United held league leaders Aduana Stars to a goalless draw at NAB 1 Park in Dormaa.

Samartex FC has one player Seidu Yussuf Dauda in the squad. Seidu Yussuf Dauda scored in the Timber boys’ 3-2 win against Accra Hearts of Oak.

The coach for the team of the week is Karela United’s Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu. He was in charge when his team picked up a valuable point against the league leaders.

In goal is Karela United’s goalkeeper Ganiu Mohammed Abdul, defense is made up of Eric Osei Bonsu (Legon Cities), Vincent Atinga Addae (Medeama SC), Abdul Raman Yaya (Karela United), and Fatawu Mohammed (Karela United)

Midfield: Collins Ameyaw (Berekum Chelsea), Seidu Yussuf Dauda (Samartex), Sammy Osae Akoto (Tamale City), and Stephen Amankona (Berekum Chelsea)

Attack: Jonathan Sowah (Medeama) and Sampson Eduku (Tamale City)
