Former Hearts of Oak and Ghana Premier League top scorer, Prince Tagoe has digged deap into the current playing body of the club and believes they don’t merit the Rainbow colours and that, majority of them should be released at the end of the season.
This backlash from the ex- Black Stars strikers comes following the embarrassing 1-5 home defeat to Medeama SC over the weekend in GPL match-week 31.
The defeat has seen the ‘Phobians’ drop to the eighth position on the table with 44 points.
“I know why I am saying that, the leadership of Hearts of Oak pays the players well. Players at Hearts of Oak receives huge salaries every month. They’re just lazy. Some should be offloaded while others should be shipped out to other clubs on loan.”
Prince Tagoe spent just a season for Hearts of Oak where he won the league and CAF Confederations Cup. He also emerged as the top scorer of the Ghana Premier League the same campaign with 18 goals.
