Your most reliable portal Domesticsportsgh.com has been briefed that, newly Promoted Ghana Premier League side, Nations FC, has opened talks with Maxwell Konadu to take over the club as the new head coach due to licensure reasons of their current trainer Johnson Smith.

The Division One League outfits who have secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League are seeking to improve their technical team ahead of their maiden participation in the top-flight.
Nations FC secured qualification to the Premier League following a 3-2 win over West African Football Academy (WAFA) last week Saturday at the Dr. Kwame Keyi Sports Complex.

Johnson Smith, a former Asante Kotoko coach led the side to book their qualification, but on License reasons, the former Karela United coach can’t be the head coach for the Abrankese based team per the competition rules on coaching requirement, therefore a qualified CAF License A coach should be employed to fill post.
That’s why the leadership of the club are in talks with the former Black Stars coach to take over the club as the new head coach.
Johnson Smith, who is a former Skyy FC will be named as the assistant coach of the club.
Konadu is one of the veteran coaches in the Ghana Premier League.
