Ghana Premier League side, Tamale City have appointed Mohammed Bashar Ogbar as new head coach until the end of the season following the departure of their former coach Walid Mohammed who has traveled outside the country for medical reasons.
The Tamale based club confirmed his appointment on their official social media page on Friday.
Bashar Ogbar was a former coach of Nigerien top side Sahel FC.
He has previously worked with Inter Allies, Steadfast FC as well as Atwe Nzema Kotoko Football club.
The newly promoted side who are currently battling relegation are confident, the highly experienced gaffer who help them to escape relegation in the remaining matches of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The Citizens are in 15th position on the league log with 39 points and will play as hosts to Samartex FC on Sunday.
