PHOTOS: Works on T&A park reaches 90% completion

Works on the $16.2 million renovation and upgrade of Tarkwa and Aboso Sports Stadium (T&A) in the Western Region is about 90 percent complete, according to report we have gathered.

The project, which was started in March, 2022 by Goldfields Ghana Limited through the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation is expected to be completed this year.

The mining company is investing the enormous sum in the extensive development of T&A Park, which has operated over the years as the home for the top league side like Medeama SC.

The new stadium with capacity of 10,400 seats would feature updated amenities as well as disabled access.

When completed the facility will also be used by colts and division one clubs in Tarkwa.

Medeama SC who are just one win away to win their first league title will be excited to use the facility for their Africa campaign.
