Real Tamale United came from a goal down to beat Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in match week 33 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

This is the second time in back-to-back seasons that the visitors have won this game in Accra, doing so by a huge scoreline last season.

The defeat leaves the Phobians moving down to the 11th position from the 9th position they started the day on, while the visitors have now moved to 9th from 11th in a swap of positions.

Accra Hearts of Oak took the lead after 34 minutes with a goal from Linda Mtange.

The Phobians went into the break with a one-goal advantage, with the Northern Blues trailing.

Coming back from the break, Real Tamale United started the half on the front foot, equalizing just a minute after the restart.

Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar leveled for the visitors, bringing the game back to where it started.

Returning from the break, Dankwa Stephen Badu scored in the 80th minute to win the game for the visitors.

Both sides finished the game with 10 men as Eric Eso and Hafiz Abdulai were sent off.
