Nations FC head coach Johnson Smith has heaped praise on his players for their self-belief which played an instrumental role in their qualification to the Ghana Premier League.
The Abrankese based club secured their ticket to the topflight league as Division One Zone Two champions with 72 points after 30 games.
“We thank our fans for being with us the whole season, Credit also goes to the players for their self-belief. It was not easy to create a new mentality to the players during hard times, but I will say they have done well”, Johnson Smith told Domesticsportsgh.com in an exclusive interview after the game against Asokwa Deportivo.
“We are putting things back in order and we are going to work hard to stay in the Premier League.” He added.
Nations FC will be playing in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League after historic promotion.
