Coach Iddrisu S. Napari, popularly known as Coach Kubli who assaulted the female Referee, Mohammed Sakina Nasara has finally landed in Police custody. He was arrested in the early hours of Monday, 19th June, 2023.
This follows an alleged savage attack on female referee Abdul Rahman Sakina Nasara during a Women’s Division 1B League match at Tamale’s Game Centre 3.
The disturbing incident occurred on Saturday, June 17, 2023, and resulted in the match being called off in the 38th minute due to a pitch invasion and subsequent assault on the referee by Tiyumbu Ladies coach Iddrisu S. Napari.
According to reports sighted by sportsmrnews.com indicates that coach Kubli handed himself over to the police.
He is currently in cells at the Regional Police Command in Tamale.
