The two clubs which boast 45 Premier League titles between them struggled in the league this season, with Hearts of Oak escaping relegation narrowly.

Sharing his opinion on the just ended league, the veteran football administrator said it was about time the two teams took a second look at their structures and introduced some reforms as the only way to meet the changing trends in the game.

According to Mr Tetteh, the two clubs, considered as the oldest in the country, were just a pale shadow of themselves this season and if they did not introduce some swift reforms, they could see darker days ahead.

He said Kotoko and hearts must come to terms with the modern-day administration of football since there had been major shifts from the old ways of administering football.

The founder of Division One league side, Uncle T FC, said the structures in both teams must be changed in the coming years to improve the standards of administration if they wanted to continue making any meaningful impact in the league.

“Kotoko and Hearts should start thinking about changing the structures and the management style and to introduce modern ways of managing football.

“Football is big business now and you can’t continue to rely on the same old ways of managing it in this era. If you do that you won’t get any good results”, he stated.
