Frederick Acheampong, an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association, has played down reports linking him to the vacant CEO role of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Asantehene Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II has dissolved the board of the club, led by Dr. Kwame Kyei, after an abysmal 2022/23 season by the club’s high standards.
Speaking in an interview on Max FM, the astute Football Administrator muted all reports of him taking over as Chief Executive Officer of the club.
“It’s not true. Do they know my friends? There’s no truth about it,” he said.
The club will appoint new leaders to guide the club in addressing challenges the previous members of the board failed at.
