Hafiz Konkoni, a striker for Bechem United, claims that top clubs in Egypt, Morocco, and Europe are competing for his services ahead of the upcoming season.
After an outstanding campaign with the Hunters, Konkoni has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Ghanaian powerhouse Hearts of Oak, who see him as a potential answer to their goal-scoring problems.
In the BetPawa Premier League, the 24-year-old attacker has made a name for himself as one of the best. After excelling in the prior season, he seems prepared for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
He scored 15 goals last season, three fewer than the club’s leading scorer, Abednego Tetteh, making him the first local player to be called up to the men’s senior national team since Chris Hughton assumed the position of head coach.
He has stated in a recent interview that other clubs have requested his services, ““I have received offers from other countries including Europe and Arab. Clubs from Egypt and Morocco are also showing interest.”
