Hafiz Konkoni seals move to Tanzania’s Young Africans SC

Bechem United forward Hafiz Konkoni has signed for Tanzania giants Young Africa Sporting Club.

The hunters top marksman enjoyed a fruitful 2022/23 league season, leading Bechem United to the top four of the Ghana Premier League.

Top Ghanaian clubs and some European outfits had expressed interest in his services for the upcoming season.

But Hafiz has settled on a transfer to the Tanzanian champions till 2025.

The sale of Yanga’s lead striker Fiston Kalala Mayele to Pyramids paves way for Hafiz Konkoni to lead the attack in the 2023/24 season.

His new side will defend the Tanzanian league title and hope for another good run in the continental competitions.

Yanga after finishing runners up to USM Algiers last season in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Hafiz Konkoni scored 15 goals in 29 matches for Bechem United last season.
