The bankroller of the Ghana Premier League side, Karela United, Hon.Haruna Iddrisu has admitted that his outfits still remains an Nzema club despite Ghana Football Association’s latest rejection to play their home matches at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
According to the law maker, it’s not his wish to move Karela United away from Aiyinase but it has become critical after their facility ( CAM Park) rejected by the Club Licensing Board.
The former Minority Leader in Ghana’s only Parliament addressed the playing body and assured them the club still remains an Nzema club despite the current situation at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
‘its not my wish to move Karela from Aiyinase, our park has been rejected and so we should look elsewhere, but the club is still belongs to my good people of Nzema, we shall return to our original home when everything is set, Haruna iddrisu addressed players on Monday evening.
The Pride and Passion side is currently training in Tamale ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The Pride and Passion boys will begin their new season when they travel to face Paa Kwesi Fabin’s Legon Cities at El Wak Stadium on Friday, September 20, 2023.
