The national boxing team, the Black Bombers, have received a variety of drinks and toiletries as they commence residential camping at the Bukom Boxing Arena from Mr. George Lamptey, a former president of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF).
Mr. George Lamptey, a technical officer for the International Boxing Association (IBA) and a board member of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), explained that his small gift was intended to inspire the boxers and maintain their high expectations for going to Senegal and qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
“I have hope in the Black Bombers, I believe in the team, they are capable, they can win more medals for Ghana, I wish them well and I pray for success” he said as he was elated to see Seth Gyamfi aka Freezy Macbones in the team.
Mr. Dauda Fuseni, Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF), received the gifts and urged other people and organizations to support the Black Bombers.
