Black Stars Vice Captain, Thomas Partey has been left out of Chris Hughton’s 25-man squad for their final AFCON Qualifier against Central African Republic on September 7 with an injury.

The forward who joined Medeama in the second transfer window scored 12 goals to help them win the League title.

Black Stars Captain, Andre Ayew, who is currently without a club, maintains his place in the squad, alongside his brother, Jordan Ayew.

The game between Ghana and Central African Republic will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, September 7.

Meanwhile, The Black Stars will host Liberia in an International Friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

The game is expected to kick off at 3pm Ghana time.
