The Chief Executive officer of Sekondi Eleven Wise, Nana Kaku Bulu (Jam Kay) has expressed his disappointment following the disqualification of Bismark Owuso Mensah from the upcoming Regional Football Association elections.
The president of Division two side, Bis Paradise football was disqualified by the association’s Elections Committee to contest for the 2023 upcoming polls.
Owuso Mensah, a former Executive Committee member of the FA, was hoping to unseat incumbent WRFA president Simon Ehomah.
However, a statement from the Elections Committee said the football administrator failed to provide the required number and also using unqualified members to endorse his candidature.
In an interview with Takoradi-based West Gold FM, Jam Kay stressed that he was surprised he wasn’t recognized as the CEO of Eleven Wise after he endorsed Bismark as the regulations states and hence he believes the decision was ‘biased and intentional’.
” I was really surprised I wasn’t recognized as the CEO of Sekondi Eleven Wise meanwhile they know I am” our problem as people is hypocrisy and that why we are suffering as football nation, I think there’s something behind” he told ace journalist Kuntu Blankson.
The Committee, however, added that Owuso Mensah had the right to appeal the decision.
Should Bismark’s appeal fail, incumbent president Simon Ehomah will be contesting unopposed in his re-election bid.
