Black Stars striker Inaki Williams scored what proved to be an equalizing goal for Athletic Bilbao on Monday night against Sporting Girona in a match week 14 fixture of the 2023–24 Spanish La Liga.
The Ghanaian international’s side had gone behind through Viktor Tsygankov in the 55th minute for Girona; however, Bilbao managed to grab the equalizing goal through Williams in the 67th minute.
With this result, Athletic Club (5th) moved on top of their rival Real Soceidad (6th) with the same points.
