Chief Executive Officer of Basake Holy Stars Hon.Simon Ehomah has revealed that the club is in dire need of financial support as they embark on their historic Ghana Premier League qualification.
According to the astute football administrator, the Basake based club depend largely on him and he is currently facing financial crises and want to call on the state and private companies in Nzema to come to their aid.
Speaking on West End Radio after their hard fought win against Elmina Sharks, he revealed that, with little support from companies, individual, MPs, DCE’s the club can restore the premier league dreams on Nzema soil after the exits of Karela United.
“It’s not easy at all, but we are trying, the club needs total financial support from the entire land, we can replace Karela United here, looking out our performance”.
“So we plead with any individual, companies, MP’s, DCE’s MCE’s and any other institution to support this journey” he told West End Radio.
Basake Holy Stars are top of the Division One League Zone Two league standings with 22 points after 10 games.
