According to sources within the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the senior national team, the Black Stars will engage Botswana ahead of the AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.
The game scheduled for January 8, 2024, at the iconic FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, this international friendly holds significant importance as part of the preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana are in Group B with Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde for the AFCON.
The final tournament will take place from January 13 to February 11 2024 in the Ivorian cities of Abidjan, Bouake, Korhogo, San Pedro and Yamoussoukro.
