When releasing the hotels and training facilities for the 24 teams, African football’s governing body noted that three-quarters of the teams at the AFCON Ivory Coast this year will be based within a 30 km (eighteen miles) radius of one another.

Ivory Coast has built about 20 training grounds for AFCON 2023 tournament to be staged in this month.

“Players will have more time to train and rest during the competition while being able to experience the excitement that will take over the country at much closer quarters, as fellow players and passionate fans from all 24 nations will be gathering in a single area,” LOC told the Local Press monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com.
