Egypt national team coach Rui Victoria has said that their clash with Ghana will be tough but he is confident of a positive results.
The Pharaohs of Egypt and the Black Stars of Ghana face off on Thursday night at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny on match-day two of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Tournament in Ivory Coast.
Ghana are placing bottom of the group following their shocking defeat in the hands of Cape Verde on last week Sunday in Abidjan.
Meanwhile, Egypt are one point ahead of Ghana because they were held to a 2-2 draw by the Mambas of Mozambique.
The Pharaohs aim to bounce back while Black Stars are looking to make amends after poor display against Cape Verde.
“It will be tough, but we will see how it will end, We know Ghana has good quality players, professionally playing outside” Ghana is a strong team, we will have our chances and try to beat them” he added.
