Nigeria winger Moses Simon believes Ghana didn’t have luck in their 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde on Sunday in their Africa Cup of Nations opening game.
Ghana now desperately needs to get things right against Egypt in their second Group B game on Thursday.
He urged the Black Stars to push harder and make the fans proud.
“Both teams played very well. Of course, I support Ghana because I have a lot of friends there,” Simon told Sienu TV.
“Of course they don’t have luck; the last minute opportunity which is an error and they lost the game. I just hope the next game they have to push more to make their fans proud.”
