According to reports, the school team have completed their preparations but the heads of the institution at an emergency meeting decided to boycott the event over financial challenges.

The heads of the school also hinted that, the school will not be able to feed the athletes and buy the needed sporting materials for the event including transportation.

The pending cancellation has left sporting students and teachers frustrated because sports competitions in schools help unearth talents in athletics, soccer and other sports disciplines for the country.
