Black Stars’ Spanish-born striker Inaki Williams banged in the winner for Athletic Bilbao against title-chasing Girona on Monday night in the Spanish La Liga.
The win dents Girona’s hopes of winning their first ever title while propelling the Basque club to fifth in the La Liga standings.
The Ghanaian scored his side’s third goal of the game on the hour mark to secure a well-deserved victory.
Williams is now four goals shy of reaching a century of goals for his life-long club, Athletic Club de Bilbao.
