In an exclusive chat with Citi sports, Paul Anyaba explained that it is their ambition to record a good performance in the league.

“It is our ambition to do well in the league. Since the beginning of the season, all the strategies we have put in place is to make sure the club do well in the league. And if doing well means winning the league, so be it.”

“We are not so fixated at winning the league. We want to do well. We want the critical investment we have done in critical facets of the team to manifest in results. That is what has so far taken us to the summit of the league.”

“Yes, if the right investment we are doing is enough to lead us to win the league so be it, but then we are not so much fixated. After all we are not given the target to win the league. That also doesn’t mean that when we have a chance to win the league we won’t win it. It’s a competition and no one goes into a competition with a defeating mind.”

Fc Samartex 1996 who currently sit on top of the 2023/24 Ghana premier league with 32 point are scheduled to play Aduana Stars in Dormaa at the NANA AGYEMAN BOADU PARK on Monday.
