Ephson shouldered the Black Satellites team in the most memorable fashion when his only goal against Senegal in the semi-finals propelled the U-20 team to the final.

Ephson used the opportunity bestowed on him during the tournament to write his name in the letters of gold in the history books of Ghana Football.

In a brief meeting with Mr. Nsenkyire, the charismatic leader heaped praises on Ephson and warned him to eschew any form of over-confidence and indiscipline.

“Congratulations and thank you for making all of us proud. There is a lot ahead of you so do well to guard against any form of over-confidence and indiscipline. Trust me, if you do that the sky can only be your limit,” Nsenkyire gushed.

In furtherance, Mr. Edmund Ackah also admonished the budding striker to utilize the opportunity wisely for better opportunities.

“Let me congratulate you for hoisting the flag of FC Samartex so high in the most indelible way, but look you have a task ahead of you to utilize the opportunities available. You have not reached so work hard to endear various opportunities available to make all of us proud.”
