Public Relations officer of Samartex 1996, Pius Abranomah has stated that his team is ready to represent Ghana in Africa next season should they win the Ghana Premier League competition.
The Samreboi based club are on course to clinch the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League title.
They are currently leading the table with 55 points, 7 points ahead of second placed side Nations FC with four games left to play.
According to Abranomah, the club President has assured the team of Africa should they manage to win the League title and book a spot in the CAF Champions League Cup next season.
“It is our aim to win the Premier League title. We’ve done couple of meetings and I can tell you our President is ready for Africa should we win the trophy. We will do away any complacency and fight for the league title with determination and hard work ” he told West End Radio.
Samartex has been exceptional this season, leading the summit since week 8 and the club is ready to maintain their status in the top-flight at the end of the season.
