The General Manager of Samartex 1996 Edmund Ackah says his players desire and commitment to work with them has been key to the team’s success in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Samartex currently sits on top of the summit with 58 points after defeating Bibiani GoldStars in their matchday 32 game with Emmanuel Mammah scoring the only goal.
The result means Samartex has clinched their inaugural Ghana Premier League champions with a narrow victory against GoldStars on home turf.
Edmund Ackah, who is the administrative head of the club, has been praised for the performance of his players and the entire team in the ongoing campaign.
According to him, his team has been successful following a good relationship, proper structures as well as their dedication and sacrifice is the reason they have been better this season.
“It is all because of the way we are managing the team and having a good relationship with them ( playing body), they are financially motivated ” he added.
Soon to be crowned champions will face Karela United in their next game in the Premier League at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex on matchday 32.
