Domesticsportsgh.com understands that, each winner of the three zones in the National Division One League would receive GHC50,000 as prize money, the Ghana FA has announced.
The announcement was made during the launch of the new league campaign, held on August 29, 2023 at the Eastern Premier Hotel in Koforidua, Eastern Region.

The FA boss, Kurt Okraku also revealed that, top 3 clubs from each zone and also top clubs in the Ghana Premier and Women’s Premier League will also be awarded maximum seater bus from the newly introduced Bus strategy an initiative to solve a very important need in the football ecosystem and also vibrant initiative aims to put to the bed issue of lack of quality transportation and inability of our clubs to purchase good buses for league matches.

According to him, thirty buses will be made available to Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One clubs after the 2023/24 season.
Additionally, each of the three winners in Division One League would also receive some cash to prepare for the Ghana Premier League.

Zone 1 winners, Young Apostles and Zone 3 champions Vision FC have been given 40-gold medals each for winning their respective zone.

Basake Holy Stars will have their coronation ceremony this Saturday against Rospak FC at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, where they will be given trophy, medals and their ticket to play in the Ghana Premier League next season.
