The stage is now set for the teams which qualified from their various zones to wage a fierce battle for a place in the Division One League Zone Two, come next season.
According to the Deputy Communications Director of the WRFA, Kweku Sagoe, he revealed that all measures have been put in place for the beginning of the middle League which kick starts this Friday June 21, 2024 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
In an interview with WestGold FM, he added that sponsorship has been challenging but they hope to have a great tournament.
“The WRFA have struggled financially over the years, though not bad at all in the previous season, but this year has been challenging but we hope for a successful tournament and we are also appealing to all corporate bodies to support us” he said.
Sixteen teams have successfully booked their tickets for this great event starting on June 21 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The winner of the middle League automatically qualifies to play in the 2024/25 Division One League Zone Two.
