Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Italian side Lazio over a possible sale of English youngster Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood impressed on loan at Spanish side Getafe in the 2023–24 season, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists in 33 matches.
According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, Lazio has offered €20 million, refuting the Daily Mail UK’s report of the Italians offering €35 million.
“In September, they gave him away on loan; today, he costs $40 million,” CdS states.
“[Lazio owner Claudio] Lotito has proposed €20 million to Manchester United; it is the cost of 50% of the price tag; he would cover the other 20 million with any resale.”
While Lazio has established a public interest in the young Englishman, other Serie A sides, such as Juventus and Napoli, have inquired about him.
