Karela United considering three venues amid Nalerigu road distance

Reports reaching us revealed that the management of Karela United will settle on Aiyinase, Tamale and Koforidua following the current distance situation of the Naaa Sheriga Sports complex in Nalerigu.

Domesticsportsgh.com understands, 70% of the Ghana Premier League clubs are complaining about the road and distance leading to Nalerigu.

Clubs from the Greater Accra, Volta , Central and Western Region are reportedly used 18- 20-hours to reach the venue, while clubs based in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Eastern parts of Ghana traveled to the area with an average distance of 10-15 hours.

Each comes with its challenges including traveling and economic factors, meanwhile the management of the club have inspected Koforidua Sports complex and Crosby Awuah Memorial Park has an alternative venues should Club Licencing Board( CLB) reject Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
