Former Sports Minister and MP for Odododiodio constituency, Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has stated, one thing which will make our sports progress when it is solved is conflict of interest.
He stated, Sudan head coach and GFA Exco member, Kwesi Appiah should’ve resigned as an Exco member immediately he was appointed as the Sudanese national team coach
Hon. Nii Lantey has promised to sit with stakeholders in football and other sporting disciplines to curb the spirit of conflict of interest when he comes back to power
He also cautioned the ministry of youth and sports for the maltreatment of the amputee team before and after they won the AAFCON in Egypt this year .
Stating, same treatment wouldn’t have been given to the Black Stars if they won a trophy –
