According to Pius Enam Hadzide, it would have been a big pride for him if at least half of the Multipurpose Sports Complexes have been completed to help promote sports but the problem is beyond them.

Only 1 out of the 10 Multipurpose Sports Complexes that were started in 2018 under the current government had been completed with the others currently being left to rot despite investing over $4 million into the project.

Reacting to the state of the Multipurpose Sports Complexes in an interview with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy Sports, Pius Enam Hadzide said he understands the frustrations of the people about the delay in completing the projects

I’m even worried talking about this because I wish we have completed all of them. Because the President initiated these projects having the youths in mind because they are going to be the biggest beneficiaries to them.”

“Sometimes if I look at the faith the President had in us and today we are still talking about our inability to complete them it saddens me but you know we will need money before we can be able to complete them,” Pius Enam Hadzide said.
